The MODIS AQUA/ TERRA Receiver (MATR) operates on a 720 MHz IF and processes data from the AQUA and TERRA satellites. For the TERRA satellite, the receiver demodulates and decodes a rate 1/2 convolutional coded signal at a 13.125 Mb/s information rate which is one of the quadrature components of an overall UQPSK signal. For the AQUA satellite, the receiver demodulates a 15 Mb/s OQPSK signal. Satellite selection is via front panel or remote interface. The selected satellite data and clock estimates are routed to the rear panel. Lock signals are provided on the front panel and via the remote interface.
