The GLI OQPSK Wideband Data Receiver - Singlerate (WDR-SR) at a 720 MHz IF has historically operated at one ultra high data rate with an OQPSK modulation format. The current version at 320 Mb/s is being used in several commercial and military satellite systems. The matched filtering of the receiver has been optimized for performance with these heavily filtered ultra high data rate satellites. This has a significant effect on link performance. Nyquist filtering has been provided in some applications. The unit may be configured for other data rates and modulation formats. Control and monitoring are via the front panel and the remote interface.
